New Zealand Army Band
In term two the New Zealand army band was at the opera house. The whole senior syndicate went to see the New Zealand army band. When we saw the great New Zealand army band it was cool. They played high school musical and the robbers.

Gala
On the 26th of November, Churton school
had its yearly gala. At the gala there were
quads. The quads were the second most
famous thing there. But the horizontal-

stalls and all. There was a pony to ride that

The Green Rig
Yesterday my class went to the green rig. It is a big green bus. There are some owls, stoats, kiwis and bats in some glass things. They all died though and they look so cool. The stoat is eating a kiwi in one of them. After we looked at that we played some games. One of them was called save the kiwi. You have to push the sides to try not to make the coin go in to a hole. If it goes in a hole you die. We also played who killed the kiwi. You have to get some animal poo or an animal print then you get a clip board and right down what animal it is. Also there are computers and you can play games on the computers. The teachers name is Mr McDonald. He has lots of cool things in his big bus. He has a plasma TV in there. Also he has mini golf out side of the bus and up the steps there are some bugs in containers. There are so many activities and fun games.

7 weeks ago I went to my friends. I heard a speeding sound. It came in. it was a motorbike. When I got a turn I flicked through the air. I got splashed and I got soaked. I got off. I got dizzy. It felt like a vibration. I got so dizzy that I felt sick.

The Beach
When it’s the 20th of October me, Mum and Dad are going to go to the Beach. It is called Kai Iwi-Beach and we are going in our super awesome brand new car. We are going to bring our togs and have a fun day. When we get there there’s going to be lots of people and we are staying there for a whole day. We are going to bring lots of food and I am going to go swimming and I’m going to be diving. I am going to play with my friends and we are going to make a big, big, big, big, sandcastle with the other kids. I can see fishes and I am going to make holes.

Last year I went to my cousin’s house. We had rides on a huge motorbike. My uncle Mark has a garage full of motorbikes. Big, small and huge. My uncle got the big motorbike out of the garage. It has flames they are blue, the rest of it is grey.
I jumped on the motorbike. We zoomed of down the road. I went crazy. You should have seen me. My hair flew.

Athletics is a sport club where you run, jump, and throw.
We are entering an interschool athletics team. Most of us want to be in it. We want to beat St Johns Hill. If we beat them we go up a place. Week seven is the athletics.

This is a story I heard a long time ago about a boy who was scared of the dark. His name was Book like it rhymes with hook. One night he had to take out the trash. His mum said “do you want a light”. He said “yes”. He ran fast as he could. He tripped over a rock. He hurt his knee and broke the light. He said “I’m not going out side again”. When he got back his mum said “are you ok”. He said that was a horror night.

My camp out
Well when I was 6 years old I went to my own
Camp out. It was fun because we got to go horse riding but I fell off and bumped my head. I cried and every one was being nice to me. After I went horse riding me and all the other kids all did arts and crafts. Two hours later me and my group tena made our group flag. After we made our group flags we got our photos taken next to our group flags. 1 hour later all the girls at the camp out got to play netball and all the boys got to play a game called ball tag. You hold this ball and when you’re holding the ball you are called the ball master. You have to try and run away from the people that are called the ball burglar. They have to try and catch the ball. The ball is the main thing in the game because it is the ball of power and if the bad people get the ball then the good people lose points and the bad people get points and the side with the most points wins and get a mars bar. You will always get a chance to win and the more you win the more mars bars you get. Anyway after we got a chance to play both games we got to go for a swim and it was fun. After that we got to watch a movie. It was funny and we ate things. Camp was fun.

School Cross Country
Yesterday Churton School had a school Cross Country. It was a long, fun, muddy, and hard run. I was 6th.

Yesterday it was the cross country. At the start I was excited. At the end I was puffed. It was muddy and I had fun. I was in the 8 year olds and Guy came 1st. It was hard

Yesterday the whole school went on the field to do cross country. I got third. It was hard. I did two laps. It was a shiny day. It was the best day ever and a super day. Mr Johnston and Mr Thompson put a muddy mud pit in. My feet got muddy. I got puffed.

Yesterday Churton school had cross-country. Mr Thompson's garden got turned into a mud patch. It was deep and sploshy. It was tiring but I tried hard to get my house some points. I ran two laps. It was a nice day but it was boiling hot. I don’t think there is ever going to be another day like that. I worked hard yesterday. I am impressed with my brother for coming second place.

Yesterday we had cross country. First the 5yr olds raced. Second was the 6yr olds. Third was the 7yr olds. Fourth was the 8yr olds. Second to last were the 9yr olds and last was the 10 and 11yr olds. It was muddy, hot and really long.

Yesterday we had a cross country. We went fast through the bull's paddock and through the mud pit. It was squishy. I had a tie with Waylon.

Yesterday Churton school had a school cross country. We had to go over fences and there was lots of mud. When we went in the mud it was fun. When they were coming back we were cheering. When it was my turn in the eight year olds I got nervous. I sprinted my fastest. Guy came 1st. 2nd was Kurt and 3rd was Donovan. I came 4th and I was the first girl. I was happy. Then it was the nine year olds turn. 1st Shamar, 2nd Ryan, 3rd Kanui. As they were coming in all the house were saying "go, you're doing well"

Yesterday we had cross country. First I saw the little kids running. It was the 5yr olds. Someone came first but I don’t know who. Then it started to get closer for me to race so I had to race. I thought set was go. So I moved forward and then I moved back. Mr Johnston said go. I came 4th.
